Our process reduces the overwhelm and emotional burden of a rebuild through a guaranteed fixed price contract, clarity about your vision, and an even pace of ordered decisions.
Are we a good fit together? The first step is to be sure you understand our process of delivering a guaranteed fixed price contract through a robust pre-construction process, and to be sure your project fits within Heyday Build’s project delivery expertise.
The purpose of this stage is to define what a successful project looks like to you so we can accurately discuss price, schedule, and process. We want to hear about your vision. What does a successful project look like? What are the priorities for meeting the budget?
With a successful project defined, we propose an estimated price range and the project design decisions and risks that influence where the project lands within that range. The goal is not simply to provide a number, but to orient you to the cost and process of successful project delivery. Here we introduce the pre-construction process.
Heyday Build presents a pre-construction proposal that aligns the project scope, budget, and schedule. These are the targets to be verified in pre-construction.
In this phase we do the work to verify assumptions, confirm pricing, and review material availability, while you work with our Design Coordinator to precisely define selections, finishes, and construction details.
The construction phase is a celebration of all the planning and pre-construction work that came before it. By this point, the scope, budget, schedule, and expectations have been carefully defined, allowing you to experience a lower-stress process as your vision is realized. The construction contract is the formal final answer to all the decisions made and assumptions verified before.
Our delivery process verifies the completed project reflects your vision and the agreed scope of work. The warranty process provides a clear path for resolving any latent or patent defects that may appear after completion. This final stage ensures you receive not only a completed project, but also continued support and accountability after construction is finished.
The seven steps follow Heyday’s client process guide. Scope, pricing, timing, and commitments are established for each individual project.

The Eaton Fire displaced our neighbors, friends, and family. We reshaped our homebuilding business to help our community find a way forward.
That means bringing the pieces together: a realistic budget, thoughtful design, permits, skilled local craftspeople, and a team that stays involved after move-in.
We've built across Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Silver Lake, and Echo Park. Altadena is where that experience meets our mission.
